Is God in Everything?

Is God in Everything?
The Story of Ruth free movie from 1960 on YouTube

All means all

The Story of Ruth is a 1960 American historical romance film directed by Henry Koster, shot in CinemaScope and DeLuxe Color, and released by 20th Century Fox, June 17, 1960. We went to the drive-in theater in our hometown. Watching that as a 13-year-old had a profound effect on me.

That scene where she was chosen to be one of the child sacrifices for the god Chemosh remains in my mind for decades. I watched God save her for a divine destiny, out of the land of Moab, transferred to the little town of Bethlehem, to be transformed into the great-grandmother of David, and in the lineage of Jesus.

God engineers circumstances.

Ruth was chosen to be the one to be thrown into the fire within the first 7 minutes of the movie. The part that always was in my vivid memory was the blemish that appeared on her body that saved her life.

God sees the future

Take everything as from God. God intervenes to save lives.

That movie is now free to watch on Youtube. The Story of Ruth highlights God’s repeated protection and blessing when He sees our hearts, our motives, to love God more than anyone or anything else. Character, conduct, and desires—what we say and do and want most reveals our hearts from early on. A big blemish I had that summer was pityriasis rosea, called a “hearld patch” on the right side of my face. That saved me from being selected. God orchestrated that blemish on purpose.

When bad things happen, God is in everything because He knows the future and leads us in the best direction, out of harm’s way.

Everything means all. God brings His message to my conscious awareness by repeating and reinforcing His divine viewpoint of human history.

Circumstances reveal destiny

That was 64 years ago. Now in 2024, for 4 days in a row, God is again getting my attention by making me aware and awake to His perspective. Circumstances in our lives in the world capture memories and experiences (both good and bad). Memories remain.

Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat

First, I watched the movie Unsung Hero premiered (April 26, 2024) in theaters about the life story of the family of Rebecca St. James.

Then my book and website went live with more memories and ways to encourage others to "write it down."

Your Memories Matter Workbook and website were featured on April 27, 2024.

The next day, Dr. Caroline Leaf explained how thoughts are made of memories in "How to break down toxic thoughts using the Neurocycle" on YouTube. Since I was writing and editing the Your Memories Matter Workbook for the past 3 weeks, I watched and took notes as I ate breakfast around 6am Sunday morning, April 28, 2024. She was a lifesaver for me in 2017. I was interested since had followed her "21-Day Brain Detox" system after a very painful experience of loss in 2016, and that really helped me refocus.

The same day, Dr. James Armstrong explained "love one another" more in detail. He clarified the meaning of predestination. Love deeply from the heart, I Peter 4:8.

Love your enemies, agape love, unconditionally, forgiving, letting go. This is within the core of our being, a supernatural love that we cannot have by trying harder, but by surrender.
